Who we are
Straybook is an editorial travel guide site operated by NEBULASERAPH INNOVATIONS LTD — a private limited company in the Travify / TicketGo group, registered in Cyprus.
For privacy questions, contact strayboook@gmail.com.
What data we collect
Straybook uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand
how visitors discover and use our content. GA4 sets analytics cookies
(_ga, _ga_*) that record:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page.
- Referring source (e.g. a search engine or another website).
- Approximate location at country / region level — never your exact address.
- Device type, browser, and operating system.
- An anonymous identifier so we can distinguish unique visitors over time.
We use analytics cookies only. We do not run advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, conversion tracking for paid media, or third-party trackers from advertising networks.
How consent works (geo-aware)
We use Google Consent Mode v2 with two tiers:
- Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein: analytics is disabled by default. You will see a cookie banner asking whether you want to enable analytics. No analytics data is sent to Google until you click “Accept analytics”.
- Visitors from outside those regions: analytics is enabled by default, in line with local laws. No banner is shown.
Geographic detection runs entirely in your browser at page load, using an IP-based country lookup (via ipinfo.io, with a 2-second timeout) and a timezone fallback if that lookup fails. The detected country is cached locally in your browser for 24 hours.
How to change your choice
At any time you can:
- Click the Cookie preferences link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your decision.
-
Clear your browser’s local storage for
www.straybook.comto reset to the default state.
Your decision is stored in your browser’s localStorage
under the key sb_cookie_consent_v1. We do not link it to
any account or user identifier.
Who processes your data
The analytics data we collect is processed by Google Ireland Limited (and its sub-processors), under Google’s terms. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right under the GDPR (and the UK GDPR) to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification or deletion.
- Object to processing and withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us at strayboook@gmail.com.
